Barrie Craig, Confidential Investigator - Diary of Death

Barrie is reluctantly in the town of Seneca, New York, looking for a murderer. The town does not have a jail or a full-time sheriff, only a resident named Murphy that is considered as the "honorary" sheriff.  His regular business is farm tools and tractors. The victim was Dr. Tyler, a veterinarian. Barrie, along with Samuel the town supervisor, and honorary sheriff Murphy, go to look at the corpse. While there, Barrie asks Murphy if anything is missing from the vet’s office.  He said the only thing missing is an old iron paperweight in the shape of an eagle. They called it "Old Baldy".
