Barrie Craig, Confidential Investigator - The Girl on the Doorstep

Barrie is walking home from a movie at about 1:00 AM. About half of a block in front of him, he notices a light coming out into the street from an apartment lobby.  In the door stands an attractive, red-headed girl talking to a guy outside. She eventually gave him a good slap in the face, and the guy stumbled backward and fell on the ice, and she slammed the door shut.   Barrie walked up to him and noticed he was not moving.  He tried to wake him, but then noticed that he was also not breathing.  He called for the apartment supervisor to tell him about the guy laying there and wanted to contact the red-headed girl.  The supervisor told Barrie that there was no red-headed girl living at that apartment building.
