Crime and Peter Chambers - Donald Slone-Embezzler

Mrs. Slone has hired Peter to find the truth about her missing husband, Donald Sloane. He formerly worked in a bank as a teller, however, as of noon yesterday, he and one hundred thousand dollars of the bank's money are currently missing.  Curiously, he left twenty eight thousand dollars behind.  He and his wife had recently separated. Mrs. Slone believes another woman is involved named "Frankie". Peter has a meeting with Slone's former boss, the bank manager, who grants him access to Slone's books.  He finds an account, about two months old, from a woman named Miss Francis Lake.
