Inspector Thorne - The Nickels and Dimes Murder Case

James Grey is waiting in the shadows near a private home for Liza, his wife, to appear. A taxi pulls up and Liza quickly exits and goes into the house. James knocks on the front door, and Claire answers. He asks to see Liza, but her aunt says she is not home.  James says "that is a lie, I just saw her go in". Claire tells him that Liza does not want to see you, James.  He starts to push his way in through the door, and Liza appears. James wants her to come home with him, but she says no and threatens to call the police. He says "alright, I will go, but you are my wife, and nobody else will have you. You belong to me". Two days later, Inspector Thorne and his assistant, Sergeant Muggins are in Liza's bedroom, looking at her beaten dead body.
