The President of the Federal Office Equipment Company, Vick Burnet, invites his young clerk, Lawrence Ferguson, to join him at the industry's trade show. Vick soon calls George Valentine to help the young clerk because he has gotten himself locked up in jail for murder and is too confused to even to defend himself.
