Stand By for Crime - Lonely Hearts Club of Doom

Chuck Morgan receives a phone call from a man named Amos Busby about some trouble he had gotten himself into. Even though Busby lived in the Elizabeth Lake region, about thirty five miles away, Chuck decided to go have a talk with him. He and his secretary, Carol Curtis, jumped into his car and headed north on Highway 99. When they arrived at Mr. Busby's address, Chuck and Carol were welcomed with the barrel of a rifle pointing at them through a window.  A shot rang out which, fortunately, missed both of them.  After Amos established that the visitors were Chuck Morgan and Carol Curtis, he apologized for the shot, but said his life was in danger and he had to be careful with strangers.
