The Adventures of Michael Shayne - The Case of the High Priced Twins

Mr. Arthur Jefferies and Miss Linda Odom walk in to Michael's office. After the introductions, Michael says "Mr. Jefferies, you didn't say very much over the phone about why you two wanted to see me". Jefferies says "Well to be brief, I have been managing the estate of Linda's uncle, Charles Odom, Last week, Mr. Odom passed away from a sudden heart attach. Linda, being his only living relative, came down here to New Orleans as soon as she could". Michael asks "Did you just arrive here tonight?" Linda says "Yes, Mr. Shane I've been away for quite a few years. In fact, I just met Mr. Jefferies tonight". Michael says "This is all very nice, but how do I fit in to this situation?" Jefferies says "Mr. Shayne, Linda and I both had every reason to believe Charles Odom was a wealthy man, but since his death, we have not been able to find any trace of his money or other holdings. Everything seems to have disappeared, along with his personal secretary, a man named Wilkerson.
