The Adventures of Michael Shayne - The Case of the Wandering Fingerprints

Michael is in a bar, waiting for a meeting with a man named Ziegler.  When he appears, they sit at a table to talk. Ziegler explains that he has experience in chemical engineering and has found a method by which to transfer the fingerprints of any individual from one place to another using an electrolytic process.  He wants Shayne to contact various clients and sign them up to his "fingerprint service".  Essentially, they have to pay to not have their fingerprints appear at a crime scene. Shayne tells him to forget it, he will not be part of any blackmail scheme.  Later that night, Shayne's fingerprints appear at a burglary scene, while he was out on a date.
