The Big Story - Gambling, Divorce, and Murder

A reporter, Frank McCulloch, from the Reno Gazette is looking into the murder of a large man near Lake Tahoe.  The man's body was found slumped over the steering wheel of a Cadillac. There was a bullet wound in the left temple, and the necktie was drawn up tight against the throat.  He was identified as Wenzel, a man that sold real estate and owned several lots near the Calnever Ranch.  He was last seen with a younger man that seemed interested in buying a parcel of land from him.  Later, at a small dive bar on Commercial Avenue, Frank runs into a guy named Tommy, who seems to know more about the crime than he is willing to disclose.
