The Clock - Eddie

Eddie Evans is sleeping late when suddenly, his phone starts ringing.  His boss McLane, the city editor, says has an important assignment for him.  The newspaper has an exclusive interview with Francine Moulton, the lady that was just acquitted for the murder of her husband.  The interview is at her home on Sutton Place and starts at 1 o'clock this afternoon.  Joe Lester, the photographer, is going along also. He will pick you up at noon. Later, when Eddie and Joe arrive at Mrs. Moulton's residence, her maid, Sally, shows them into her library. Mrs. Moulton is very cordial and gracious to the two visitors, and the interview goes very well.  In fact, she was so charming that Eddie becomes interested in her.
