The FBI in Peace and War - Expert Testimony

Mrs. Cora Braden is currently at a pre-trial hearing for the murder of her husband, Harry Braden. The District Attorney is saying the state will show evidence  that she was well aware of the danger to her husband's existence, due to forces of the law and the underworld. Expert testimony will be given by the FBI to prove that Harry Braden did not commit suicide, and that this is a case of premeditated murder. Later, the Defense Attorney is counseling Mrs. Braden in her jail cell.  He tells her "at the trial, throw herself upon the mercy of the court, and admit that you killed Harry. I will then bring in my own expert testimony. If you will do this, I guarantee you will get out of this - scot-free".
