The Whistler - Accident-According to Plans

Tom Reddick was jealous of his co-worker Charles Fremont's cleverness and his ability to always succeed when there was applause or a pat on the back for a job well done. Due to his ability to obtain a lease on the new building, Charles was made the General Manager of the plant, starting next week. Tom's jealousy reached its peak then, because he was the General Manager, and had not had enough time to secure the lease. At that point, Tom knew he needed to get rid of Charles. Tom started working on his plan. He would take Charles out for a celebratory drink that night and insist on driving him home. Tom, knowing that the road crossed the train tracks and the train would come through at 6:30 PM, would make it look like an accident.
