Marsha Winters, wife of wealthy banker Arnold Winters, is standing in front of the refrigerator in her large kitchen. As she opens the refrigerator door, she says to herself "This refrigerator needs defrosting again. Oh, my friends would laugh seeing me, of all people, the glamorous young wife of old moneybags Arnold Winters doing kitchen work". Emily, Marsha's sister-in-law, walks into the kitchen and says "Marsha, I came here for a showdown with you. I'm your husband's sister, and you are his wife".
